Thread cutters for metric ISO threads (M) DIN 13 and pipe threads (G) DIN ISO 228

Thread cutters are used to create internal threads in workpieces. To create the threads, our staff first use a drill that corresponds to the inner diameter to create a core hole. Then, the thread is cut through rotation and corresponding axial feed. The movements of the tool are synchronized by the CNC machine, resulting in a helical path. Cutting edges on the thread cutter remove material, forming the desired thread.

Drill
